Ms. Liselotte Højgaard
Liselotte Højgaard is a clinician-scientist in the field of medicine. She is a specialist in clinical physiology and nuclear medicine, a former Head of the Department of Nuclear Medicine & PET at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen. She is a professor at the University of Copenhagen and DTU, the Technical University of Denmark. Højgaard was Editor-in-Chief of the Danish Medical Journal, a member of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors. Liselotte Højgaard is a member of the Scientific Council of the ERC and the Gender and Diversity Working Group. She was the President of EMRC, the European Medical Research Councils, ESF, Strasbourg, and a former Chair of the Danish National Research Foundation. Liselotte Højgaard was a member of the Novo Nordisk Foundation Board of Directors and is a member of the Board of Trustees (Die Robert Bosch Stiftung, Germany). She holds a Knighthood in Denmark, first order, and is Chevalier de la légion d’Honneur in France. She is an elected member of the Academy of Technical Sciences and the Royal Danish Academy of Sciences and Letters.
